Abstract

En esta tesis se defiende la hipótesis según la cual en los textos narrados por los sordos subyacen algunas percepciones sobre el hecho ser sordo u oyente. En específico, se propone que a través de unos recursos retóricos suministrados por la lengua de señas para la construcción de los personajes - en concreto, por medio de la metáfora, la metonimia, la sinécdoque y el manejo espacial - se plantea un problema en torno a las diferentes maneras de ser sordo en un mundo en el que el contacto con los oyentes es inevitable. Tal problema se examina en siete cuentos narrados en Lengua de Señas Colombiana (LSC), tomados de los Corpus I y II sobre la selección de relatos potenciales para el análisis literario (INSOR, 2013).
