Observaciones sociales y diatópicas del yeísmo y lleísmo en los documentos de procesos judiciales del periodo colonial neogranadino

El propósito de este estudio es identificar el nivel de variación social y diatópica encontrada sobre el lleísmo (la preservación de la oposición entre /ʝ/ y /ʎ/) y el yeísmo (Hualde y Colina, 2014) a partir de documentos judiciales durante el periodo colonial neogranadino. Si bien se conoce el predominio del yeísmo en la Colombia actual (Ruiz, 2020a), no hay información sobre cómo se registraba este fenómeno entre los siglos XVI y XIX. Mediante la revisión de textos del corpus Documentos para la Historia Lingüística de Colombia (ICC, 2017-2020) en perspectiva de la dialectología (Prokić, 2017) y la sociolingüística históricas (Nevalainen, 2015), se encuentra que el primer testimonio no lleísta pertenece al siglo XVI, pero la mayor extensión de estas variantes se concentra en la costa Caribe desde el siglo XVIII. / Abstract: The aim of this research is to identify the degree of social and diatopic variation found in lleísmo (the maintenance of the opposition between /ʝ/ and /ʎ/) and yeísmo (Hualde y Colina, 2014) from judicial process documents during the colonial Neogranadian period. Although it is known the predominance of yeísmo in present-day Colombia (Ruiz, 2020a), there is no information on how it is registered this phenomenon between 16th and 19th centuries. Through the review of text from the Documentos para la Historia Lingüística de Colombia corpus (ICC, 2017-2020) in a historical dialectology (Prokić, 2017) and sociolinguistics (Nevalainen, 2015), it is found that the not lleísta first testimony was from the 16th century, but the greatest territorial extension of these variants is gathered at the Caribbean coast of the first half of this century.
